Kali muraticum is the 5th cell/tissue salt going by the United States numbering system of cell salts. Kali mur is potassium chloride and is the remedy for inflammation and mucus. This is the remedy to keep in mind for thick discharges. Think things like chest and face congestion, post nasal drip, and thick blood. Kali mur allows the liver to cleanse the blood and uproot the problem so the body can do what it is meant to do.
Just as with the other cell salts this is not a complete list of every sign of deficiency or every symptom that kali mur can help with.
Signs of deficiency:
- eustachian tube blockage
- white mucus
- swollen lymph nodes
- skin dandruff
Emotional signs of deficiency:
- irritability
- apathy
- homesickness
- tendency to hypochondria
Facial signs of deficiency:
- milky appearance to the skin
- milk moustache
- milky-reddish coloring around eyes
- milky-bluish or milky-purplish coloring on the upper eyelid
- white covering on the tongue
Generally helpful for:
- second stages of fever (101-103F)
- white mucus
