We have talked about cell salts for all kinds of ailments and stages of life. Another situation where cell salts can be really helpful is in pregnancy. There actually is a cell salt pregnancy protocol. Of course, this protocol does not replace the need for solid nutrition throughout pregnancy. It also does not replace paying attention to what your body is telling you that you need. The protocol is a good starting point.

The pregnancy cell salt protocol is as follows:

Month 1: Calc fluor 6x, Mag phos 6x, Ferr phos 6x

Month 2: Calc fluor 6x, Mag phos 6x Ferr phos 6x

Month 3: Calc fluor 6x, Mag phos 6x, Nat mur 6x

Month 4: Calc fluor 6x, Nat mur 6x, Silica 6x

Month 5: Calc fluor 6x, Ferr phos 6x, Silica 6x

Month 6: Calc fluor 6x, Mag phos 6x, Ferr phos 6x

Month 7: Calc fluor 6x, Mag phos 6x, Nat mur 6x

Month 8: Calc fluor 6x, Nat mur 6x, Silica 6x

Month 9: Calc fluor 6x, Ferr phos 6x, Silica 6x

Take three to four pills of each remedy 3 times a day. They can also be dissolved in water and then sipped on three times throughout the day. It is advised that the month 9 cell salts be used as long as baby is nursing.

How each of the cell salts are helpful in pregnancy

Calc fluor supports the stretching tissues, think ligaments, uterus and abdominal wall. It is also helpful for pelvic laxity, varicosities and early stretch-mark tendencies.

Ferrum phos may be supportive when dealing with anemia. This cell salt supports healthy blood oxygenation and circulation.

Mag phos can help with muscle cramps, spasms, nerve pain as well as digestive issues.

Nat mur may help regulate fluid balance and cellular hydration, making it excellent when dealing with water retention.

Silica supports connective tissues and nutrient absorption. This cell salt is also helpful for nails, hair and skin.

Other cell salts that are commonly used during pregnancy

Calc phos supports the development of baby’s bone and skeleton. It can also help support your teeth. This cell salt is also helpful with fatigue, weakness and nutrient depletion.

Kali phos is wonderful for supporting mental and emotional health. It’s great for anxiety and overwhelm.

Nat phos can be very helpful when dealing with indigestion. This cell salt supports metabolic balance and hormonal shifts.
